| Opis awersu | Crowned and armored bust of Charles V facing right, with a short beard, rendered in a bold hammered style typical of mid-16th century Flemish coinage. The effigy fills much of the field, with the crown clearly visible above the portrait. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, incorporating the regnal titles of the Holy Roman Emperor and King of Spain, with the date and a fleur-de-lis mint mark of Bruges appearing at the end of the inscription. The legend reads: CARLVS D G V ROM IMP HIS REX followed by the year 1545. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border. |

| Opis rewersu | The Flemish lion rampant facing left occupies the central field, depicted with raised forepaws, an open mouth, and a prominently curved tail, set within a plain inner circle. The heraldic lion is rendered in the characteristic bold relief of hammered coinage of the period. The surrounding border consists of a continuous ornamental scroll or rope pattern, typical of Flemish mites of Charles V. The field is plain, with no additional inscriptions or symbols visible on the reverse. |
