| Obverse description | Central field displays the heraldic shield bearing the arms of Wesemael, enclosed within a raised inner circle forming a beaded border. The shield is rendered in the Gothic armorial style typical of Low Countries feudal coinage of the early fifteenth century. A circular legend in uncial characters surrounds the inner circle, separated from it by a plain field. The coin's irregular flan, characteristic of hammered billon issues, is evident at the periphery. |

| Reverse description | A bold cross pattée occupies the central field, its splayed arms extending nearly to the inner circle, a design typical of Low Countries feudal billon coinage of the fifteenth century. The cross is contained within a raised inner circle, beyond which a circular legend in uncial script runs to the coin's irregular edge. The cross arms are broad and well-defined, lending the reverse a strong, symmetrical appearance despite the roughness of the hammered flan. |
