Obverse description Central field occupied by a rounded coat of arms of Burgundy, rendered in the Gothic heraldic style typical of the mid-fifteenth century Low Countries, contained within a beaded inner circle. The shield is depicted with characteristic Burgundian quartered arms. A Gothic uncial legend encircles the design between the inner circle and the outer rim, identifying the issuing lady of the lordship.
