Obverse description Central field occupied by a quartered heraldic shield bearing the combined arms of Austria-Burgundy-Brabant, with the Flanders escutcheon inescutcheon at center. The shield is rendered in the late Gothic style typical of Habsburgian Netherlandish coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, with the Latin legend disposed around the periphery of the coin.
