Reverse description Central design features a bold cross pattee with splayed terminals, centered within a plain inner circle that divides the field into four equal quadrants. The cross arms are broad and well-defined, typical of the pattee form employed on Brabantine petty coinage of this period. A peripheral Gothic Latin legend encircles the design, separated from the inner circle by a narrow flat border. The striking is irregular and somewhat weak in areas, as expected of hammered copper coinage of small module from this era.
