Obverse description Right-facing uniformed bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II in military dress uniform, adorned with epaulettes, decorations, and the Iron Cross at the collar. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed portraiture. The peripheral legend reads WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG VON PREUSSEN, with the regnal dates 1888 and 1913 inscribed within laurel branches at the lower left and right of the bust respectively. The Berlin mint mark 'A' appears at the base of the truncation.
