Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Georg of Saxony facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair and beard. The truncation of the neck is plain and unadorned. The circumferential legend reads GEORG KOENIG VON SACHSEN, with the mint mark E positioned at the base of the coin near the rim. The field is smooth and slightly convex, bordered by a continuous beaded inner rim.

Reverse description Crowned imperial German eagle displayed with wings spread, the head facing right, bearing an orb on its breast above an ornate heraldic shield. The eagle is rendered in fine relief with detailed feathering on the outspread wings. Two six-pointed stars flank the denomination legend ZWEI MARK at the base of the field. The circumferential legend DEUTSCHES REICH flanks the date to the left and right respectively, with a beaded inner border encircling the entire design.
