| Obverse description | Central field bears a large elaborate crowned royal cypher of Duke Christian Albert, formed by interlaced initials beneath a ducal crown rendered in fine detail. The denomination numeral '2' appears below the cypher, with the value inscription 'MAR:' beneath it along the lower inner margin. A circumferential Latin legend runs along the border, divided by dot stops, reading the duke's titles and name abbreviations. The milled border is finely executed, consistent with Glückstadt mint production of the period. |
