Reverse description The arms-spread German Imperial eagle displayed at centre, with head turned to the right, breast shield bearing the Hohenzollern quartered arms, and the whole surmounted by an Imperial crown. The eagle is flanked by ornate scrollwork and oak-leaf garlands at the base. The legend DEUTSCHES REICH arcs around the upper periphery with the date 1905 to the right, while the denomination ZWEI MARK appears in the lower arc, separated by six-pointed stars, all within a beaded inner border.
