| 裏面の説明 | Printed in dark blue-black on buff paper, the reverse centres on a rectangular vignette illustrating the first electric railway at the Berlin Gewerbeausstellung of 1869, showing a small electric locomotive drawing open passenger carriages with figures in period dress, set against an exhibition hall with flags. The vignette is enclosed within ornamental borders with cross-pattern corner pieces, and vertical serial number panels flank the design on either side. The inscriptions 'ERSTE ELEKTR. EISENBAHN' and 'GEWERBEAUSSTELLUNG BERLIN 1869' appear in sans-serif capitals at the top and bottom of the vignette frame respectively. |
