| Opis rewersu | The reverse is printed in matching blue, black, and salmon-pink tones with a symmetrical decorative border enclosing historic house marks (Hausmarken) of old Bielefeld merchant families, each identified by name and street address, arranged in a grid pattern around a central cartouche. The cartouche, framed in ornate scrollwork, contains an anecdote concerning Syndikus Hoffbauer and King Jérôme, with a moralizing inscription below; beneath it, three heraldic shields including the Bielefeld coat of arms are arranged under the label Tormarke. Denomination numerals "2" appear in all four corners, and a three-line verse in Gothic script runs across the lower border. |
