Obverse description The central field carries the municipal coat of arms of Attendorn — a black cross on white with a crescent in the upper left quarter — beneath the gothic-script issuer legend 'die Städtische Sparkasse Attendorn i/W.' at the top. To the right of the arms, a payment order text in gothic script reads 'zahle gegen diesen Scheck aus meinem Guthaben an den Inhaber', with the denomination 'Zwei Mark' rendered in large ornate blue gothic lettering below. Flanking the central panel are two vertical vignettes, each set in a ruled border: at left, a pen-and-ink view of the 'Dieckerturm' medieval tower, and at right, the 'Pulverturm' tower; denomination cartouches reading '2 M' in blue appear below each vignette, with 'Konto E' at lower left and the serial number at lower right. The printer's imprint 'Flemming u. Wiskott A.G. Glogau' appears in the bottom margin.

Reverse description The reverse is devoted to the 700th anniversary of Attendorn's town charter, with the founding year '1222' and the jubilee year '1922' flanking the bold gothic headline '700 jähriges Stadtjubiläum' across the top. The central vignette presents a dramatic interior view of the Attendorner Tropfsteinhöhle (stalactite cave), rendered in dark tonal woodcut style with stalagmites and stalactites. Narrow side panels carry detailed views of the cave chambers captioned 'Ruhmeshalle' at left and 'Kerzenhalle' at right, with blue '2 M' denomination cartouches at lower left and right; the bottom border inscription reads 'die Attendorner Tropfsteinhöhle'.
