Reverse description Central field features a rampant lion facing left, rendered in bold relief within a beaded inner circle; the lion is crowned and displays a raised forepaw, characteristic of the Norwegian or Danish heraldic lion type. The surrounding peripheral legend ·DOMINUS·*·PROVIDEBIT· runs clockwise in Latin script between the beaded inner border and the milled outer rim. The field is otherwise plain, with light wear consistent with circulation use.
