Reverse description Three Swedish royal crowns arranged in a triangular formation occupy the central field, with two crowns in the upper register and one larger crown below, the group flanking and dividing the four-digit date 16–64 on either side. Below the crowns, the denomination is expressed in Roman numerals as II M (2 Mark), accompanied by the mint master's initials IK, all separated by small ornamental stops. The design is bold and heraldic, with the crowns rendered in high relief against a plain field, a characteristic feature of Swedish coinage of this period.
