Obverse description The central vignette presents the heraldic arms of the City of Jever — a shield supported by two rampant lions — rendered in a bold woodcut style against a pink vertically-striped underprint. Flanking side panels in olive-green carry ornamental scrollwork alongside the denomination numerals '2 M' in red, with the issuer name 'Stadt Jever' inscribed at the top left and right corners. A lower text panel in Gothic script contains the payment obligation text, with a blank date line for manuscript completion.

Reverse description The central vignette presents a detailed woodcut-style view of the choir of the Stadtkirche (town church) and market hall of Jever, captioned as part of the Edo-Wiemken monument, rendered against a salmon-pink sky. To the left, a portrait bust of Maria von Jever in period costume is framed within a panel bearing the dates '1534–75'; to the right, a close view of the historic 'Marienglocke' (Mary Bell) appears within a matching panel. Denomination numerals '2 Mark' appear in ornamental cartouches at the lower left and right corners.
