Reverse description Green and red-brown letterpress vignette on a cream ground with a vertical-line hatched background. Two uniformed soldiers in World War I field dress — one bearded and wearing an officer's peaked cap to the left, the other helmeted and carrying a rifle at the right — flank a large red-brown numeral '2' overlaid on a green Iron Cross motif at centre. A red-brown panel at the foot carries the inscription in green Fraktur lettering. Designer and printer credits appear in small Roman capitals along the lower margin, with a hand-stamped blue Gothic legend below.
