备注

Eschershausen is a small town in Lower Saxony, and its decision to issue notgeld in 1921 reflects the acute small-change shortage that plagued German municipalities in the early Weimar period — federal coinage simply wasn't reaching local economies fast enough to function. Stadt-issued notgeld at this denomination was commonplace across hundreds of German towns during 1920–1922, most authorized by local councils and signed by a single municipal official, here recorded only as Elsner.

The DeNG reference places this within a set of six variants for the 0351 issuer group, suggesting Eschershausen released multiple designs simultaneously — a common approach to discourage hoarding and encourage turnover.
