Opmerkingen

Münster's 1921 notgeld issues were designed by Jos. Dominicus, whose work for the city gave the series a degree of artistic consistency unusual among municipal emergency issues of the period. Gebrüder Jänecke in Hannover were among the more capable commercial printers drawn into notgeld production as demand outpaced the Reichsdruckerei's capacity — their output for various Westphalian municipalities during 1921 tends to show cleaner registration than many provincial competitors.

The 2 Mark denomination places this note in the transitional phase before hyperinflation rendered such figures absurd within months.
