Large red numeral '2' appears at left and right flanking the shield, with the denomination 'Mark' rendered in bold blackletter script beneath each figure. Below the arms, a text panel carries the redemption and issuance conditions in a mix of blackletter and roman lettering, concluding with the italic inscription noting issue on 2 July 1922 for Goslar's millennium celebration by the Stadtverwaltung.
