| Obverse description | Orange and black letterpress notgeld printed on plain paper, with the Goslar municipal coat of arms — a black eagle on an orange shield — centred at the top. Large red numeral '2' appears at left and right flanking the shield, with the denomination 'Mark' rendered in bold blackletter script beneath each figure. Below the arms, a text panel carries the redemption and issuance conditions in a mix of blackletter and roman lettering, concluding with the italic inscription noting issue on 2 July 1922 for Goslar's millennium celebration by the Stadtverwaltung. The designer and printer credits 'ENTW.: RUDOLF FRICKE' and 'DRUCK: LATTMANN, GOSLAR' appear in small capitals at the lower left and lower right margins respectively. |
