A caption panel above the vignette reads 'PIDDER LÜNG UND DER AMTMANN V. TONDERN · H. POGWISCH ·', and a Frisian-dialect legend is inscribed in a horizontal band below the scene. The lower register is divided into three panels: the denomination cartouches 'ZWEI MARK' and 'TAU MARK' in bold red at left and right respectively, flanking a central panel with six lines of Frisian verse in black letterpress. The printer's imprint 'BUCHDRUCKEREI CARL MEYER, WESTERLAND-SYLT.' appears at the very foot of the note. |
