Obverse description Multicolour Notgeld note printed in red, gold, and brown on cream paper. The central vignette shows a Madonna and Child figure in a radiant glory, set above the municipal coat of arms of Dalhausen within a laurel wreath. Flanking the central motif are red panels bearing the denomination '2 Mr.' in Gothic script, and a Latin inscription split across both sides references the founding of the Church of the Immaculate Virgin in 1718. The lower portion carries the issuer name 'Gemeinde Dalhausen' in large Fraktur lettering, with the office seal, validity date 'Gültig bis zum 1. März 1922', issue date 'Dalhausen, den 5. Nov. 1921', and the facsimile signature of the Gemeindevorsteher.

Reverse description Printed in brown on cream paper, the reverse carries a large central vignette with a panoramic woodcut-style view of Dalhausen in Westphalia, showing the village rooftops, a church steeple, surrounding hills, and a foreground of gardens and fencing beneath a clouded sky. The denomination '2' appears in each corner within dark square cartouches, with the word 'Mark' printed vertically along both side borders. A decorative foliate frieze runs along the top edge, and the caption 'Dalhausen i. Westf.' is inscribed in a panel at the foot of the note.
