正面描述 The left half of the note is occupied by a bold expressionist silhouette vignette of a sailing ship rendered in black ink, its sails bearing the numeral '200' in a contrasting light tone, with a small anchor detail at the bow and seabirds in the background. The right panel carries the issuer text in Gothic blackletter script against a light ground within a ruled decorative border. Below the main inscription, a smaller text block states the validity condition, date, and signatory designation, all within an ornamental cartouche.

备注

Kampen is a small settlement on the narrow northwestern tip of Sylt, and its decision to issue emergency currency in 1921 had everything to do with the near-total collapse of small-denomination Reichsmark coinage in postwar Germany. Municipalities across the country filled the gap with Notgeld, and the North Frisian islands were no exception. Hartung & Co. in Hamburg printed for dozens of these local authorities simultaneously, which means the production quality here is competent but unremarkable by the firm's own standards.

Sylt island notes from this period attract collector interest disproportionate to their face value — the geography helped, since tourist traffic to the island was already developing in the early Weimar years and visitors often pocketed notes as souvenirs rather than spending them.
