| Opis awersu | The arms of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen occupy the central field: a heraldic shield bearing a diagonal key, surmounted by an elaborate mural crown adorned with oak leaves and acorns. Two rampant lions serve as supporters on either side of the shield, resting on ornate foliate scrollwork. The circumferential legend reads FREIE · HANSESTADT · BREMEN ·, with the Hamburg mint mark 'J' positioned at the base between two separating dots. The composition is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the classical German imperial coinage style. |

| Opis rewersu | The Prussian imperial eagle is displayed at the centre of the field, depicted with wings spread and head turned to the right, wearing an ornate crown and bearing a shield on its breast charged with the Hohenzollern arms; the eagle is encircled by an oak-leaf wreath and flanked by sword and sceptre. A beaded inner border frames the design. The upper legend reads DEUTSCHES REICH with the date 1904 descending along the right side, while the denomination ZWEI MARK arcs along the lower portion of the coin. Two five-pointed stars flank the denomination inscription as separating ornaments. |
