| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device depicts a turreted castle of Castile in high relief, rendered in the medieval heraldic style characteristic of Habsburg-era hammered coinage. The castle features three towers with crenellations, the central tower being the tallest, set upon a triple-arched base with visible embrasures. Mint assayer marks appear flanking the castle in the field, consistent with Burgos Mint production. The surrounding legend, partially visible on this irregularly flan, reads +DON·PHELIPPE·II· in Latin characters. The overall strike is off-center and the flan is heavily corroded, typical of low-grade billon survivors from this series. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device features a rampant lion passant guardant to the right, representing the Kingdom of León, rendered in bold relief consistent with the hammered technique of Philip II's Castilian coinage. The lion is crowned and depicted in a vigorous, stylized heraldic posture with forepaws raised. The design is enclosed within a double or beaded inner circle, portions of which are visible on the irregular flan. The surrounding Latin legend reads +REI·DE·LAS·HESPAÑAS·, proclaiming Philip II as King of the Spains. The flan shows characteristic irregularities, pitting, and surface corrosion consistent with heavily circulated low-grade billon coinage of this period. |
