This is a fantasy note — it has no official standing with the Banco Central de Honduras and was never legal tender. "Macaos" is not a denomination in any Honduran monetary series; the unit is the lempira, named after the sixteenth-century Lenca chieftain who resisted Spanish conquest. The murciélago blanco, or Honduran white bat (Ectophylla alba), is a real and genuinely unusual species endemic to Central America, but its appearance here is the choice of a private issuer, not a national authority.
Polymer substrate on a piece with no monetary function is a curiosity of production cost over purpose.
