Reverse description Two oval escutcheons side by side beneath a large royal crown: the dexter shield bears the arms of France (three fleurs-de-lis on a plain field), and the sinister shield bears the arms of Navarre (a chain-lattice pattern on a plain field). The mint letter D (Lyon) appears in the exergue below the shields. The surrounding Latin legend CHRS. REGN. VINC. IMPER. is interrupted at the top by the date 1771, all separated by dot stops, running along the inner beaded border.
