| Obverse description | Right-facing bare-headed effigy of King Vittorio Emanuele III occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed portraiture characteristic of Romagnoli's style. The truncation of the neck is clean and unadorned. The obverse legend arcs along the upper periphery and identifies the monarch by title, while the engraver's signature, G. ROMAGNOLI, appears below the neck truncation in the lower field. |
