| Obverse description | Bare-headed portrait bust of Victor Emmanuel III facing right, rendered in high relief with strong sculptural modeling, occupying the central field. The encircling legend reads VITT·EM·III·RE·E·IMP·, abbreviating his titles as King and Emperor of Italy, arranged around the periphery with bullet separators. The engraver's signature G. ROMAGNOLI appears in small incuse lettering along the lower truncation of the bust. The design reflects the austere classicizing style favored by Italian state coinage of the Fascist era. |
