| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, her hair arranged in loose curls, set within a beaded inner border. The effigy is rendered in a restrained Baroque style, with the empress depicted in regal court attire. The surrounding Latin legend reads M•T•D•G•R•IMP•G•H•B•REG•A•A•D•LUX•, distributed evenly around the periphery of the coin. The field is plain, with no additional devices or ornaments flanking the portrait. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays a five-line Latin inscription AD / USUM / DUCATUS / LUXEM. / 1757 arranged within an open wreath of laurel or olive branches, tied at the base with a small floral knot. The wreath frames the legend symmetrically, with leafy sprays extending to either side. The date 1757 appears on the lowest line of the inscription, within the wreath. A beaded inner border encircles the entire design, consistent with the obverse treatment. The composition is characteristic of Austrian Netherlands coinage of the mid-eighteenth century. |
