| Obverse description | Elongated fusiform billon bar of the 'langue de tigre' (tiger tongue) type, with a convex upper surface covered in irregular raised globular and loop-shaped surface markings produced during casting. Three stamped impressions bearing the Lanna script character 'na' are applied across the length of the bar, serving as authentication marks. The texture is coarse and organic, characteristic of hand-cast billon currency bars of the Lan Xang period. |
