| Obverse description | At center, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup is depicted in relief, flanked above by the bilingual legends 'საქართველო' and 'GEORGIA' in Georgian and Latin scripts respectively. A decorative semi-circular ornament with pointed terminals frames the composition along the inner border. To the lower right, the year '1981' — the year Dinamo Tbilisi won the cup — appears alongside the Georgian legend 'წელი' (year), while the lower left bears the denomination '2' and the bilingual inscription 'ლარი / LARI'; notably, the numeral '2' and the first digit of '1981' are rendered in a larger size to allude to the winning match score of 2:1.
