| 备注 |
Harrison & Sons printed the bulk of Zambia's banknote output through the 1970s and 1980s, a relationship that continued well past the firm's 1980 acquisition by the Australian Banknote Company. By 1989, Zambia was deep in an IMF debt crisis that had triggered severe import restrictions and fuel shortages — the 2 Kwacha was essentially small change in an economy where inflation was rapidly eroding the lower denominations into irrelevance.
P#29 is the last distinct type in this design series before the Bank of Zambia moved to higher denominations as the dominant circulating notes.
