| Obverse description | The obverse features the elaborate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Abdülhamid II prominently centered in the field, rendered in fine calligraphic style with characteristic loops and ascending strokes. To the right of the tughra appears a small ornamental device. The entire design is enclosed within a border of evenly spaced six-pointed stars surrounding the inner field, with a milled outer rim. The overall composition follows the standard Ottoman tughra coinage format established under the Tanzimat-era reforms. |
