Obverse description Bare-headed left-facing effigy of King Oscar II, rendered in high relief with finely detailed portrait bust truncated at the shoulder. The engraver's initials 'L.A.' (Lea Ahlborn) appear below the neck truncation. A continuous Latin legend encircles the bust along the rim, identifying the monarch and his dual kingship of Sweden and Norway.
