The centre is occupied by the crowned royal cypher of King Haakon VII — the interlaced monogram H7 surmounted by a royal crown — set within an elaborate cartouche of guilloche lacework. Numeral 2 denominators in scrollwork ovals flank the central cartouche on either side, with the inscription KRONER repeated in plain lettering at the lower left and right, and the printer's imprint at the foot. |
