Descrizione del dritto	The central vignette presents two Greenland Arctic hares (Lepus arcticus groenlandicus) in fine intaglio-style engraving against a light blue guilloche underprint carrying a large watermark-style inscription GREENLAND. A gold-toned foil patch at upper left bears the Greenlandic coat of arms with a polar bear motif, while the denomination numeral 2 and legend TWO KRONER appear in bold letterpress at lower left. The Latin binomial Lepus arcticus groenlandicus is inscribed vertically along the right margin.

Descrizione del rovescio	The central composition presents a large humpback whale tail fin breaching above the waterline in dark intaglio engraving, set against a panoramic vignette of a rugged coastal glacier or sea-ice formation beneath a warm salmon-tinted sky. A decorative Inuit-motif panel in deep burgundy runs along the left border, incorporating geometric and face-mask designs, with a stylised floral or sea-anemone underprint at lower centre. At right, a disclaimer text block is followed by a facsimile Governor signature and a grid of eight silhouetted Greenlandic wildlife pictograms.
