Obverse description Printed in red on white paper with an intricate guilloche border. Two female vignettes in octagonal frames flank the central text panel, which bears the denomination ZWEI KRONEN in bold letterpress and the issuing bank name with date 1. März 1917. The denomination numeral 2 appears in each corner; two facsimile signatures and the imperial Austrian eagle underprint appear below the central text.
