| Descrizione del rovescio | Printed in red and black on a green underprint, the reverse mirrors the obverse layout but carries the full Hungarian-language text, with the Hungarian coat of arms placed at the lower right. The denomination KÉT KORONA and the camp designation CS. ÉS K. HADIFOGOLYTÁBOR KENYÉRMEZŐ are set out in parallel to the German obverse, accompanied by three corresponding signature lines. Hungarian-language cautionary warnings against counterfeiting and restrictions limiting the note's validity to camp use only complete the text. |

Kenyérmező was an Austro-Hungarian prisoner of war camp in western Hungary, and like dozens of similar installations during the First World War, it issued its own internal scrip to prevent hard currency from circulating among prisoners or leaving the camp economy entirely. These Lagergeld notes were not redeemable outside the wire, which was precisely the point.
Campbell 1390 is among the scarcer camp issues — Kenyérmező produced a limited denominational range, and 1916 scrip from smaller Hungarian installations survived in far lower numbers than the better-documented camps at Sigmundsherberg or Mauthausen. Most was discarded or destroyed at repatriation.
