Obverse description Crowned royal cypher of Frederik III at center within a beaded circle, with a cloud issuing from below bearing the inscription EBEN-EZER, breaking both the beaded circle and the base of the crown above. The motto legend runs in the outer field, concluding with the date 1659, forming a continuous circular legend around the crowned monogram.
