Obverse description Quartered shield of Württemberg arms — displaying the three stag antlers of Württemberg, the three lions of the County of Mömpelgard, and additional heraldic quarters — set within a beaded inner circle. The date 1568 appears above the shield in the field. The surrounding circular legend reads CHRISTOPH. DVX. WIRTEMB. ET. T., with the full inscription distributed around the beaded border, all struck on a square klippe flan.

The design is struck on a square klippe flan with an outer beaded border.
