背面描述 Depicts a displayed Imperial double-headed eagle with outstretched wings, each head surmounted by a crown, with a larger crown above both heads. On the breast of the eagle, an orb or shield bears the numeral 2, denoting the denomination of 2 Kreuzer. The surrounding legend in Latin names the issuing authority as Ferdinand II, Holy Roman Emperor. The design follows standard Imperial iconography of the period, executed in hammered technique with a beaded border.

附加信息

Augsburg's 1625 coinage falls squarely in the opening phase of the Thirty Years' War, when the city — wealthy, nominally independent, and anxious — was navigating the impossible diplomacy of a Free Imperial City caught between Catholic imperial forces and Protestant allies. The mint remained active throughout, partly as a practical necessity and partly as an assertion of civic autonomy that the war would eventually erode.

The Forst/Schmid reference places this piece within a well-documented local series, though die alignment and edge quality vary considerably across surviving examples.
