Reverse description A crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the central field, with a orb bearing the numeral Z (denoting 2 Kreuzer) on the breast. The surrounding Latin legend carries the imperial titles of Maximilian II, Holy Roman Emperor, running within a beaded border around the periphery of the flan. The eagle's wings are spread, and the imperial crown surmounts both heads in the customary fashion of Holy Roman Empire coinage of this period.
