Obverse description Conjoined draped busts of Archduke Leopold V of Austria and his consort Claudia de' Medici facing right, both wearing simple robes at the shoulder, beneath a shared crown. The effigies are rendered in high relief typical of early seventeenth-century Habsburg commemorative coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait group, identifying both rulers by name and title. The composition occupies the full flan within a plain inner border.
