| Obverse description | Oval heraldic shield bearing a quartered coat of arms divided into seven sections: quarters 1 and 2 display the arms of the Salzburg Archbishopric; quarters 3 and 6 bear the Meier zu Reitnau family arms; quarters 4 and 5 show the arms of the Lords of Eschenz in Thurgau; an escutcheon at the chief displays the personal arms of Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau. The shield is surmounted by the archiepiscopal galero with pendant tassels. A circular Latin legend surrounds the composition within the inner field. |
