Obverse description The obverse displays four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically in the center of the field, reading top to bottom, right to left. A horizontal band of smaller ideograms appears above the central inscription, with an additional row of characters below, all rendered in traditional regular script (kaishu). The legend records the reign year, dynastic title, and monetary denomination particulars. The field is unadorned save for a fine beaded border encircling the entire design.
