Obverse description Central field features a decorative floral motif flanked by four large Chinese ideograms arranged in a cross pattern, reading top to bottom and right to left. A surrounding circular band carries additional Chinese inscriptions denoting the issuing authority, denomination, and weight standard. The legends identify the coin as a product of the Fukien Mint, issued in the Republic of China cyclical year Jiazi (1924), with a declared weight of 1 Mace and 4.4 Candareens. The overall design is rendered in a formal, engraved style typical of early Republican provincial Chinese silver coinage.
