| Obverse description | Facing bust effigy of Sun Yat-sen, rendered in moderate relief at center, with a plain truncation and close-cropped hair. The legend 中華民國 (Republic of China) is inscribed along the left field in vertical orientation, while 總理紀念幣 (Prime Minister's Commemorative Coin) arcs along the upper portion of the field. The date 十六年造 (Made in Year 16, corresponding to 1927) appears in vertical arrangement along the right field. The entire design is contained within a beaded inner border. |
