| Obverse description | Central field bears the large Chinese characters 貳角 (Two Jiao) as the principal denomination legend. Surrounding the central denomination, a circular legend in Chinese characters reads 中華蘇維埃共和國 (Chinese Soviet Republic), flanked on either side by five-pointed stars. The lower arc of the legend carries the date in Chinese characters. The rim is toothed (beaded border), and the overall design is deeply struck in a plain, utilitarian style characteristic of Soviet-period Chinese regional coinage. |

| Reverse description | Central motif features a hammer and sickle superimposed over a terrestrial globe, symbolising international communist solidarity. A wreath of grain ears frames the lower portion of the design, while a five-pointed star appears at the apex. Chinese characters arranged above and around the central device carry the exchange rate inscription. The composition is typical of Soviet-influenced Chinese regional coinage of the early 1930s. |
