| Obverse description | The obverse features a decorative wreath of native Ukrainian flora — including viburnum berries with foliage on the left, oak branches with acorns on the right, and thistle and wild roses at the base — encircling the central field. A small songbird is depicted perched among the viburnum berries on the left side of the wreath. At the top center, within the wreath, appears the Ukrainian state coat of arms (tryzub) on a shield. The denomination numeral '2' occupies the center of the field, with the legend 'УКРАЇНА' above and 'ГРИВНІ' below, and the date '2019' at the bottom. The mint mark of the Banknote Printing and Minting Works of Ukraine appears at the very base of the design. |
